You will be responsible for

Cloud & Kubernetes Security

• Secure GCP environments and apply best practices across Kubernetes (GKE) using RBAC, PodSecurityPolicies, and network policies.
• Continuously monitor and harden cloud-native infrastructure to defend against evolving threats.

GitOps & ArgoCD Hardening

• GitLab CI and Argo CD pipelines to automate the CI/CD process 

Monitoring & Observability

• Build real-time monitoring and alerting systems with Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and GCP Cloud Operations Suite to detect anomalies and security incidents proactively.
• Implement distributed tracing and observability patterns for enhanced security insights.

Infrastructure as Code

• Terraform as IAC to manage cloud-based infrastructure

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (IAM, GKE, SCC, Secret Manager)
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Harbor
• Proven experience building and securing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and GCP Cloud Operations Suite
• Proficiency in Bash and Python. Knowledge of Go is a plus
• Familiarity with microservices architectures. Exposure to Kafka or EMQX is an advantage
• Security-focused mindset with a passion for automation and DevSecOps best practices
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate technical risks into actionable outcomes

• GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
